19:47:00We've received an update from the provider:
During planned improvement works a network engineer pushed a global wrong configuration concurrently to several devices.
This created an IP broadcast traffic storm across the global IP network. This also created remote access challenges to all the devices and applications which hindered investigations.
Once identified, we urgently asked a Field Engineer to go onsite and provide Console remote access.
Network Engineers rollbacked the configuration on 1 device and replicate the same fix to all others impacted devices. This is permanently resolved, we are not further changes will be planned until full investigation is completed.

14:15:00The alerts we initially received seemed to affect only an out-of-band link, where our monitoring detected packet loss between one of our UK datacentres and our CH POP.
