Following on from an earlier incident affecting some devices in our Interxion/DRT LON2 POP, we will be implementing a network upgrade to replace the gigabit switches there.
The maintenance will involve two phases:
insertion of two new switches into the London ring on the evening of 11-12th December - this will cause two brief breaks in ring connectivity passing across Interxion which does not include much customer traffic
move connections from fs155, fs156, fs157, fs158 to the new switches on the evening of 12th-13th December - this will cause short interruptions to the customers single-homed on those switches as their cabling is moved (customers dual-homed to two of the switches will experience two brief periods of loss of redundancy)
