We believe that Zen's remediation has worked this time. We will continue to monitor this interconnect for a few days to be sure.
Re-opening this because we've seen the packet loss return.
Zen's NOC performed the relevant maintenance last night, and we can confirm that the packet loss issue is resolved.
Unfortunately Zen's NOC were not able to perform the break-fix maintenance that had been scheduled for last night.
We've had some reports that this problem might be back. We're working with the Zen Network Operations Centre to determine whether this is the case.
Zen's estimated time of resolution is 14:00 UTC (15:00 local time).
Zen have confirmed the issue, and their engineers are going to the relevant site to rectify the problem.
We have temporarily disabled our BGP session to Zen in Manchester pending further investigations at their side.
We're discussing this with Zen's network operations team.
Zen's router has begun pinging again, and BGP has re-established.
