We're aware of some problems with connectivity to networks reachable over LINX Manchester.

After diagnostics and exploring various options, we've rebooted the device we think is causing the problem. This has brought connectivity across LINX Manchester back to normal. The root cause appears to be that our LINX ConneXions device in Manchester (which operates at layer-2) has gone into some sort of faulty state where it is able to pass BGP traffic through at layer-3, but no other layer-3 traffic (ICMP, TCP, etc) seems to work.

We are going to schedule a follow-on maintenance to remove this device from production.

In the meantime, we have re-established peering over LINX Manchester pending further works.

We've turned down BGP sessions on LINX Manchester, and have reached out to the LINX NOC to debug the issue.
