One of our wholesale connectivity providers is performing some maintenance and upgrades to their optical network. We will be reducing the preference of all circuits which could be affected during the period that this work is carried out.
- 2019-05-23 15:30:00
All affected services have been set to “backup” links and traffic is now flowing across other interconnections.
- 2019-05-23 16:05:00
There has been a major incident on this provider’s network earlier today, and all their engineering teams have been pulled away from the planned maintenance. We expect an update in two hours’ time to confirm whether the planned work is going ahead.
- 2019-05-23 18:30:00
We have agreed to defer the planned maintenance to another day, once the provider has finished emergency fibre repair works and to stabilise their network.
- 2019-05-24 10:00:00
We have proposed a new maintenance window to the supplier, and are awaiting confirmation whether this will be acceptable for their technical teams.
- 2019-05-29 18:32
Our proposed maintenance window isn’t suitable for our wholesale provider, so we are looking at other options for w/c 2019-06-03.
- 2019-06-05 06:34
The provider is now working towards the evening of 2019-06-20 for this maintenance, but has yet to confirm the date and exact time.
- 2019-06-19 09:38
The provider has confirmed that maintenance will take place tomorrow at 17:30 (local time).
- 2019-06-20 15:50
We have placed all circuits into standby/backup mode, and our engineers are standing by.
- 2019-06-20 16:29
Third party maintenance has begun.
- 2019-06-20 16:36
Everyting appears to be working correctly. We are just waiting for confirmation from the provider’s NOC team.
- 2019-06-20 16:40
Both NOCs are happy this work is complete.
- 2019-06-20 16:57
Our engineers are standing down.
