As is usual around this time of year, we have received the following notice:
Beginning on Monday, 23 November 2020 at 12:01 AM site local time, Equinix will implement our annual global maintenance moratorium on all scheduled preventative maintenances for critical equipment that directly supports customer loads. This moratorium will be in effect for all Equinix IBXs and will also include access to any Equinix manholes.
This restriction is in place to protect our customers from any adverse impact related to intrusive activity. Non-intrusive activity, such as audits, duct availability verification, and route planning, will be allowed. This moratorium will not impact any activities that are corrective in nature and will continue through Sunday, 3 January 2021 ending at 11:59 pm site local time; after this date normal IBX scheduled preventative maintenance activities will resume.
We do not anticipate this will affect our services.
